West Delhi Connect, Festive Meet 2018 held at Dilli Haat, Janakpuri, Delhi to commemorate the auspicious spirit of Deepawali with a social bonding initiative on November 3rd. At a time when individualism and worries have taken over the higher purpose of life and social circles are shrinking in real life despite of so much growth of virtual media connections, these Delhi based event planners came up with a novel idea of Festive Meet to bring people together for common interaction and celebration with respective families, friends and other people from neighboring locations. This initiative is started from West Delhi and organizers are planning to make it bigger while taking it to different locations and cites. The idea is to promote the concept of social get-together to make people interact and know each-other better, enthusing them with renewed vigour about life and spirit of festivals. People of all ages participated in the event and many among them get an opportunity to showcase their talent and sharing their thoughts. Selected few in various categories got an honour or received a token of appreciation from organizers (Strategic Bond Management Consultants LLP) People from all walks of life have marked their in the event, be it doctors, lawyers, social workers, IT professionals, teachers or business men. In fact, it was not just about West Delhi, but residents from various parts of Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon have participated in various activities at the event. This initiative is brain child of Mr Sanjeev Bhakhri, a veteran in media and event management industry and managed by his team at Strategic Bond Management Consultants, LLP. Their other event properties and initiatives are also very well accepted and popular among masses. The event started at 3 pm with a classical dance performance on Bharat Natyam based Pushpanjali by a 9 years old girl, Siya Togra and followed by series of activities till 9 pm. There was a fashion walk by kids, art & craft activities, magic show, dance competitions, quiz, interesting health talks, awards and a small exhibition of some Deepawali related products & services along with a wonderful group of audience to compliment the program. Shilp Guru Giri Raj Prasad, Himachal Pradesh Mitar Mandal, Young actor Anubhav Nanda, Dr. Pankaj Aggarwal (Homeopath) were honoured with Star Persona Award at West Delhi Connect 2018 by Strategic Bond Team. The winners of various activities among kids also got awarded by trophies, candies and set of diamond comics. People also enjoyed the presence Mr. Gulashan Rai (founder of Diamond Comics), Chaiman of Guru Harkrishan Public School Mr. Jagdip Singh, Film maker and editor of Aaj ki Delhi group Mr. Yograj Sharma, young female model, Simran Jeet, Choreographer/Model Mahesh Sharma and Dipankar with his team of dance performers at D Star. No wonder participants and audience had a great time and meaningful interactions through this platform.
