Tabu, Farooq Abdullah, Raju Chadha, Madhur Bhandarkar & Rahul Mittra opens the Kashmir World Film Festival

The fourth edition of the Kashmir World Film Festival (KWFF) was inaugurated at a packed Tagore Hall in Srinagar. The mega opening of the festival saw luminaries of the film industry being felicitated by Farooq Abdullah & other dignitaries. Prominent awardees included actress Tabu, top film presenter & Chairman Wave Group Raju Chadha, national award winning director Madhur Bhandarkar, award-winning producer Rahul Mittra, director Ashok Kaul, film & theatre actor Rajit Kapur, distributor Raj Bansal, Vani Tripathi, amongst others. A brainchild of Festival director Mushtaaque Ali Ahmad Khan, the seven-day festival is committed to bring the best of the world’s films to Kashmir and provide a platform to the talented filmmakers of the valley.
