New Delhi, 6 March. The Delhi Bharatiya Janata Party president Shri Adesh Gupta today discussed issues of civic amenities and their solutions and strengthening of the organisation with party workers and intellectuals during the course of his mandal parvas in Mahipalpur, Raj Nagar, Bijwasan and Kapashera areas of the Bijwasan assembly constituency . Later he had tea with a worker at his residence in a jhuggi basti.
Addressing the meeting at Mahipalpur, Shri Adesh Gupta said the party is dedicating the entire month of March to include more workers at party’s booth level besides the cleanliness drive. During this period, senior party leaders and workers will not only help the councilors in this drive but will also work to strengthen the booth committees by visiting the mandals, he dded.
The party chief said there is no development worth its name in J J clusters and resettlement colonies because of careless attitude of the Kejriwal government. He asked the party workers and leaders to adopt these areas and ensure minimum basic amenities there.
Shri Adesh Gupta said it is highly regrettable that despite promising free power and water supply to these jj clusters and resettlement colonies, the Kejriwal government has only deprived them of these basic facilities.
During the programme, state general secretary Shri Dinesh Pratap Singh, vice president Shri Jaiveer Rana, district chief Shri Jagmohan Mahlawat, general secretary Shri Pawan Rathi, Ex MLA Shri Satparkash Rana, assembly incharge Shri Inderjeet Sehrawat, were present while at Mahipalpur, Raj Nagar, Bijwasan and Kapashera mandal chiefs including Shri Kishan Sehrawat, Shri Joginder Solanki, Shri Pradeep Vats and Shri Ashok Yadav presided over the mandal meetings.
