Cases where Co-operative societies are facing problems or dispute, should be settled as soon as possible- Sanjeev Kaushal

Chandigarh, June 8: Haryana Additional Chief Secretary, Cooperation Department, Sh. Sanjeev Kaushal said that cooperative societies should make maximum use of technology in their department and at the same time increase the credit flow and work towards delivering benefit of social schemes. Apart from this, he directed the concerned officers to try to settle the issues of the committees in which there is any problem or dispute as soon as possible.

Sh. Sanjeev Kaushal was holding a review meeting with the officers regarding the functioning of cooperative societies in Gurugram and Faridabad circles today.

         In the meeting, the officers informed that there are 284 cooperative group housing societies in Gurugram circle and out of these, the data of all 284 cooperative societies has been uploaded and frozen.  Along with this, there are 16 cooperative house building societies and out of these, the data of 15 societies has been uploaded and frozen.

         At the same time, data of all 183 cooperative group housing societies in Faridabad has been uploaded and frozen and data of 7 cooperative house building societies has also been uploaded.

         He said that the flow of credit limit given through co-operative societies in Faridabad and Palwal districts should be increased so that more and more people can take advantage of it.
