Pt Deendayal Upadhyaya’s ideals have helped us become world’s largest party-Adesh Gupta

New Delhi, 25 September. The Delhi BJP felicitated senior party workers for their valuable contribution to the party on the occasion of Pt Deendayal Upadhyaya’s birth anniversary at a function organized at the party office here this evening.  Addressing the function, state president Shri Adesh Gupta said it is because of the thoughts and ideology of Pt Deendayal Upadhyaya and dedicated and hard work of senior leaders that BJP has the honour of becoming world’s largest party.  It is his ideals and philosophy which has taught us how to move forward and work and what should be the role of a political worker in the society and the country, all these have helped party reach this height today, he said.

Shri Gupta said Pt Upadhyaya always laid stress on antodaya or how the last man in the row can get the benefit of government’s welfare policies in a democratic country with no discrimination against any one or corruption.  In fact, Pt Deendayal ji is an example of how to help all in the society and we all must learn from this.

The state party president said our workers are very hard working and we therefore must ensure his ideals reach the people, something we have been doing whenever there was BJP government in power. Whether it was Atal Behari Vajpayee’s government or now Narender Modi government, we have done this, he added. Under his principle of antodaya, it has always been his first and foremost thought to connect the last man of the society in the row with the mainstream. It is under this very principle the Modi government has made welfare programmes and policies keeping in mind sabka vikas , sabka vishwas so that all are benefited, he added.
