Ch.Anil Kumar mourns the death of Ex-MLA Smt. Tajdar Babar.

New Delhi, October 2, 2021-- DPCC President Ch Anil Kumar expressed his shock and sorrow at the demise of ex-MLA and veteran Congress leader Smt. Tajdar Babar.

 

Former President of All India Congress Committee Shri Rahul Gandhi Ji also paid floral tributes to Mrs. Tajdar Babar's mortal remains at East Nizamuddin at the residence of Mrs. Tajdar Babar.

 

Ch. Anil Kumar said that Smt. Tajdar Babar had played a major role in strengthening the party in Delhi, as multiple times MLA and as a key figure in the NDMC, played vital roles in the development of the National Capital.

 

Ch. Anil Kumar said that while Congress party is celebrating Gandhi Jayanti on one hand, on the other hand Congress party has lost its valuable leader, former President of Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee Mrs. Tajdar Babar. She passed away this morning on 2nd October. He told that Mrs. Tajdar Babar was not only the backbone of the Congress party but also the strength of the Congress workers.

 

He said that Mrs. Tajdar Babar made immense contribution to the Congress party throughout her life, Mrs. Tajdar Babar was also the President of Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee from 1984 to 1988. He said that the Congress party will never forget the contribution made by him and his lack in the Congress party will always remain.

 

Ch. Anil Kumar had requested the family of Smt. Tajdar Babar to keep her body at the DPCC office, Rajiv Bhawan, for the Congress workers to pay homage to her, but due to short of time it could not be done. Ch Anil Kumar said the DPCC will hold a condolence meeting DPCC Office.
