BJP is always with one who has feeling of sewa-Adesh Gupta

Kejriwal gave hoardings of his name to kids who should have been holding laptops-Gautam Gambhir

New Delhi 24 October. In the presence of state BJP President Shri Adesh Gupta and east Delhi MP Shri Gautam Gambhir, senior Akali Dal leaders Sardar Gurmeet Singh and Sardar Manjit Singh along with their large supporters today joined the BJP. Welcoming them into party fold , Shri Gupta said Sikhs are known for their selfless service to the people and this was seen during Corona pandemic. Impressed by welfare policies and programmes of Shri Narendra Modi government, the BJP family is expanding by the day. It is proof of the fact that BJP is only party where everyone gets equal respect.

The general secretary Shri Harsh Malhotra, state media head Shri Naveen Kumar Jindal, Shahdara district incharge Shri Pankaj Jain, district president Shri Ram Kishore Sharma, ex assembly candidate Dr Anil Goyal were among those present.

Shri Adesh Gupta said replying to negative campaign about the party, prime minister Shri Narendra Modi took two major decisions in which a chairman to minority commission was made twice, first time in 75 years of independence, first during late Atal Bihari Vajpayee government and then during Shri Modi's government. He said BJP is a political party but is always with those who want to serve people.

The Party State President said for us country comes before the party  and one example is that only today we sent relief material for flood affected people of Uttarakhand. We have ensured none is deprived of benefits of Shri Modi's welfare policies and programmes.

Shri Gautam Gambhir said the youth should only be focusing on work and I am hopeful both Sardar Gurmeet Singh and Sardar Manjit Singh and others will work for further development of east Delhi. Taking dig at Kejriwal, he said development of Delhi is not possible by putting up huge hoardings and indulging in self publicity.  Some talk of enhancing the respect of people like Bhagat Singh but let me tell them they can't make little kids stand in sun with hoardings of their pictures. They should be carrying laptops rather than become a political tool. Can we fight pollution in this way, he asked.

He said leaving aside our political differences we should together work for Delhi overall development.  We should not make false promises of making Delhi London or Paris. Let Delhi remain Delhi where children can breathe fresh air, drink clean water, he remarked.

Sardar Gurmeet Singh said impressed with vision of Shri Modi for all round development and able leadership of Shri Gupta in Delhi, I decided to join BJP with my whole team. He said BJP is a party where every worker is is like an organisation in himself.

Apart from Sardars Gurmeet Singh and Manjit Singh, others who joined BJP were Shri Prit Pal SinghShri Jagjit SinghShri Gursharan SinghShri Jarnail SinghShri J S JaggiShri Paramjit Singh.
