New Delhi, 27 October. State Bharatiya Janata Party president Shri Adesh Gupta along with other office bearers of the party including Leader of Opposition Shri Ramvir Singh Bidhuri inspected the Chhath Puja Ghat at ITO and took stock of the preparations for Chhath. After taking stock of the ghats. Shri Gupta while talking to reporters later said that like every year, once again Kejriwal has started memorizing his old script regarding the cleaning of mother Yamuna. Whereas since eight years ago, Kejriwal has been saying that he will end the problem of pollution in Yamuna and take a dip with everyone. But in these eight years, Kejriwal himself has become a big problem for the development of Delhi.

Shri Gupta said that the Modi government at the Center gave Rs 2419 crore to Kejriwal to set up STP plants, but today what happened to those STP plants, which Kejriwal talks about in other states. But the Kejriwal government has forced the mothers and sisters of Delhi to take a dip in the poisonous water during his tenure. He said that Delhi is the reason behind 80 per cent pollution of Yamuna, but a government is sitting here which is doing only politics instead of cleaning Yamuna.

Shri Adesh Gupta said that the work of setting up the biggest STP plant in Okhla not only in the country but in the whole of Asia is going on by the Central Government. But the question is, where has Kejriwal's Rs 25 crore gone which were kept for the preparations for Chhath Puja in Delhi. There is neither any kind of preparations nor cleaning of Yamuna. Like other claims, this claim of his has also proved to be a failure. Describing the Kejriwal government as anti-Hindu, he said that whenever any festival of Hindus comes, they try to stop it by issuing Tughlaqi decree.

Leader of Opposition Shri Ramvir Singh Bidhuri said that the issue of cleaning Mother Yamuna has always been raised by the BJP in the Vidhan Sabha, but instead of discussing it, Kejriwal works to divert the issue by bringing other issues, but on the contrary, when a festival like Chhath comes he starts talking of cleaning Yamuna and taking a dip in it.He said that Kejriwal has been doing this for the last eight years and now the people of Delhi have also understood it. The government of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi also helped Kejriwal to clean the Yamuna, but Kejriwal misused that money in his election tours. Even today the condition of Yamuna has become worse than before. BJP MLA Shri Abhay Verma, spokesperson Shri Shubhendu Shekhar Awasthi and other office bearers were present on this occasion.
