US Embassy delegation pays obeisance at Gurdwara Bangla Sahib

Team members evict keen interest in kitchen where langar for 2 lakh people daily was prepared by DSGMC during COVID crisis DSGMC team led by Jagdeep Singh Kahlon honour teams on the occasion Team members register their experience in visitor’s book New Delhi, October 17 : A high level US Embassy delegation today paid obeisance at Gurdwara Bangla Sahib. Delegation comprised of US Special Advisor to Children Issues Michelle Bernier Toth, Branch Chief Ms. Ebbony Jackson, Attorney Advisor Mr. Jared Hess, Ms Christina Lyons Vice Consul and Mr. Vincent Keung apart from others. After paying obeisance this delegation also visited Langar Hall and kitchen where langar for 2 lakh persons was prepared daily during COVID crisis and also visited parikarma of Gurdwara Sahib. Delegation members were honoured by Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) General Secretary Mr. Jagdip Singh Kahlon besides others. Mr. Kahlon also briefed delegation about history of Gurdwara Bangla Sahib and told them how Guru Harkrishan Sahib ji had saved humanity during pandemic. He also told them that devotees are served with sacred Jal from well from where Guru ji had bless sangat. He said that thousands of pilgrims visit daily Gurdwara Bangla Sahib to seek blessing of Guru Sahib. Mr. Kahlon disclosed that delegation was impressed by the services rendered for humanity by the DSGMC specially langar sewa and free health services. He also disclosed that delegation members registered their views in visitor’s book and were blessed by Guru sahib and also lauded DSGMC.
