Congress workers will distribute Guarantee Card launched by Congress president Shri Mallikarjun Kharge to every home in Delhi to ensure that the promises will be fulfilled when Congress comes to power—Arvinder Singh Lovely
NEW DELHI, April 3, 2024-- Congress president Shri Mallikarjun Kharge today launched the door-to-door distribution of Congress Guarantee Card of five main promises, with each promise consisting of five guarantees, made by Shri Rahul Gandhi during his Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, in the presence of Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president Shri Arvinder Singh Lovely and thousands of Congress workers at Kaithwada, near Shiv Mandir, 2nd Pushtha, Usmanpur Chaupal, Ghonda Assembly in the North East Delhi Parliamentary constituency today (Wednesday). The programme was organised by ex-MLA Shri Bheesham Sharma.
Addressing a press conference on the occasion, Shri Mallikarjun Kharge said that Congress’ five guarantees with each guarantee having five assurances for Youth, Farmers, Women, Workers and Hissedari (Justice) will ensure that “Haath Badlega Halath” will be made a reality when Congress wins the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. He said that the Congress promises will be actualized, and they will not be like BJP’s empty rhetoric, as in the past ten years, the Modi Government had only made promises without fulfilling any of them.
On this occasion, besides Congress president Shri Mallikarjun Kharge and Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee President Shri Arvinder Singh Lovely, others present were AICC General Secretary (Communications) Shri Jairam Ramesh, Delhi State Incharge and AICC General Secretary Shri Dipak Babaria, former DPCC Presidents Shri Subhash Chopra and Ch. Anil Kumar, M.P. Sayed Naseer Hussain, AIMC President Alka Lamba. Gurdeep Sappal, Pranab Jha, former MP Dr. Udit Raj, former Delhi ministers Haroon Yusuf, Mangatram Singhal, Rajkumar Chauhan and Dr. Narendra Nath, former MLAs Bhisham Sharma, Ch. Matin Ahmed, Hasan Ahmed, Neeraj Basoya, Vijay Lochav, Veer Singh Dhingan, Amrish Gautam, former leader of the MCD Jitender Kumar Kochar, senior leader Chattar Singh.
Shri Arvinder Singh Lovely said that Delhi Congress workers will deliver the Congress Guarantee Card to each family in the Capital, as Congress has always fulfilled the promises made to the people in their manifestoes. He said that every category of people, including youth, women, farmers, labour, hissedari (justice) will receive a fair deal as people have suffered on every count in the past 10 years, due to price rise, unemployment and social unrest and injustice due to the divisive policies of the BJP Government.
Shri Kharge said that the Congress Guarantee Card has promises like Rs 1 lakh yearly apprecentiship scholarship to every educated youth, debt relief for farmers and legal guarantee MSP under the Dr M.S. Swaminathan formula, Rs 1 lakh per year to every woman head poor families, Rs 400 daily wage under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act and Caste Census to find out the social and economic status of every citizen of every cate.
Shri Kharge said that the Congress Guarantees, consisting of 25 promises in all, will cover every aspect of people’s lives, as the common people have become totally stressed out and helpless under the BJP rule, and only Congress’ guarantees will take them out of their present plight.
