Shri Lovely said that it was the mandate of the Constitution to ensure that the Lok Sabha election was held in a free and fair manner, but unfortunately that was not happening as those forces who give no credence to the Constitution was trying to suppress the voice of the Opposition and was making every effort to scuttle the free and fair election process. He cautioned the people of Delhi to cast their votes in the Lok Sabha elections to protect the constitution and vote for the India Alliance candidates so that the Constitution could be protected, as the Indian Constitution was considered as a well-respected document the world over.
