DPCC president Shri Devender Yadav directs Congress workers to intensify election campaigns on a war-footing to ensure the victory of Congress and India Alliance candidates in all the seven Lok Sabha constituencies

 NEW DELHI, —Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president Shri Devender Yadav today addressed meetings of the Media Strategic Committee, Social Media Committee and Media Panellists, and directed them to intensify their campaigns on a war-footing not only for the Congress candidates  in the three Lok Sabha constituencies, but also in the other four Lok Sabha constituencies where India Alliance candidates are contesting, as no stone should remain unturned to ensure the victory of all the seven India Alliance candidates in Delhi.

 

Shri Devender Yadav said that there was very little time left for the Lok Sabha elections, and the focus of the Congress workers in the remaining days should be  to inform the people about the salient features of the Congress manifesto consisting of 5 Nyay and 25 guarantees. He said that the promises in the
Congress Nyay Patra will be fulfilled as soon as India Alliance comes to power at the Centre.

 

Besides Shri Devender Yadav, other prominent leaders present at these meetings were Ex Minister and Strategy Committee Chairman Shri Haroon Yusuf, Ex Minister Shri Mangat Ram Singhal, Communication Department and Ex MLA Shri Anil Bhardwaj, AICC spokesperson Smt. Ragni Nayak, Booth Management Committee Chairman Shri Rajesh Garg, Shri Ali Mehndi, National Coordinator Shri Rahul Sharma, Shri Hidataulla, Shri Anirudh Sharma, Shri Harsh Chaudhary, Shri Ramesh Popli, and Shri Tasvir Solanki.

 

Shri Devender Yadav appealed to the Congress workers that besides focusing on Chandni Chowk, North West Delhi and North East Dehi where the party has fielded its own candidates, the Congress workers should also carry out intense election campaigning in the other four constituencies.

 

Chairman of the Communications Department Shri Anil Bhardwaj said that Delhi Congress’ vision was to serve the people, and the 5 Nyay and 25  guarantees in the Congress manifesto will be given wide publicity in all the social media platforms to reach out to all sections to people. He said that to ensure the victory of all the seven India Alliance candidates in the Lok Sabha elections, Congress social media department, media team and panellists were sparing no effort in mounting  aggressive campaigns, as every effort was being made to ensure that the Congress publicity material reaches every household.

 

At the direction of DPCC president Shri Devender Yadav and AICC General Secretary In-charge of Delhi Congress Shri Deepak Babaria, the booth workers were imparted training  for the effective management of the booth committees and to reach out to every voter. In this connection, training camps for around 300 BLA-2 volunteers were held at Babarpur and Seemapuri Assembly segments, and this exercise will be carried out in all the Assembly constituencies. The training sessions of BLA-2 were conducted by Delhi Congress Booth Management chairman Rajesh Garg.

 

Shri Rajesh Garg said that the  BLA-2 volunteers were given directions to make door-to-door visits to distribute the Congress guarantee cards that aimed to uplift the situation of youth, women, farmers, labour, middle class and the marginalized, He said that all sections of people were struggling to make a living due to price rise, unemployment, rising crimes against women, corruption and social inequality, and Congress manifesto promises to make drastic improvement in people’s lives.
