DPCC president Shri Devender Yadav exhorts Congress leaders and workers to motivate people to vote for Congress candidate for the India Alliance in the North West Delhi Lok Sabha to save democracy and the Constitution

 


Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president Shri Devender Yadav today addressed meetings of Kirari and Rohini District Congress Committee office-bearerss in favour of Congress candidate of India Alliance for the North West Delhi Lok Sabha Dr Udit Raj at Mangalam Farm, Kanjhawala   Road, Rama Vihar,  today. Among those present were ex-MLAs, those who contested the Assembly elections, District and Block Congress Committee office-bearers, Municipal Councillors, those who contested the Corporation elections, office-bearers of Frontal Organisations, Cells and Departments, Congress workers and local residents, who pledged their support for Dr Udit Raj.

 

Besides Shri Devender Yadav, others who addressed the meeting were Congress candidate for the Lok Sabha from Nort West Delhi Dr Udit Raj, AICC In-charge of North West Delhi Ch. Virender Singh, observer Shri Kamalkanth Sharma, District president and ex-MLA Shri Surender Kumar and Shri Inderjit.

 

Shri Devender Yadav appealed to the Congress leaders, office-bearers and workers to distribute Congress’ 5 Nyay  containing 25 guarantees to the voters   door-to-door to  inform people about the party’s determination to to uplift the condition of youth, women, farmers, labour, marginalized, lower and middle class people and others struggling to make ends meets, as Congress will certainly fulfill all the assurances given in the manifesto, for  which people should be encouraged to vote for the Congress candidate.  He also exhorted the Congress workers to hold padayatras and corner meetings in their respective areas for Dr Udit Raj.

 

Shri Devender Yadav that booth-level committees should be strengthened and voters should be informed about the policies and programmes, and Guarantees of the Congress, and vote for Congress as these measures were intended to take people out of their poverty and financial plight so that the country could save democracy and Constitution from destruction, as the authoritarian BJP Government was determined to overturn both if they get another chance to govern at the Centre. He said that the Modi Government carried out no development work or anything for the welfare of the people in the past ten years, as all its promises and assurances were deceptions to fool the people. He said that the Constitution of the country was framed after much deliberations and thoughts among Dr Baba Saheb Ambedkar, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, Mahatma Gandhi, Moulana Azad and other towering leaders of the Independence movement to protect democracy and the rights of the people, but the BJP was determined to change the sacred Constitution if it gets over 400 seats in this Lok Sabha elections. He said that people should be made aware of this dangerous thinking of the BJP by motivating them to vote for the Congress and India Alliance.

NSUI, Youth Congress teams to motivate young voters at the booth-level—Anil Bhardwaj

 

NEW DELHI, May 9, 2024—Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president Shri Devender Yadav has given responsibilities to NSUI and Youth  Congress presidents to manage publicity and motivate youth at the  booth-level  and encourage them  to vote for the Congress and India Alliance candidates in the Lok Sabha elections as it was an election to determine the future of the youth,  save Democracy and the Constitution. He said that   Delhi Congress has been intensifying its election campaigning to reachout to maximum voters before the voting day. He said that after the declaration of the star campaigners of Congress for the Lok Sabha elections, a road map has been drawn up to motivate the young voters to vote for the Congress and  India Alliance candidates for which teams of NSUI and Youth Congress have been working relentlessly at the booth-level.

 

Shri Devender Yadav has given responsibilities to the NSUI and Youth Congress presidents to manage the publicity campaigns at the booth-level, and the works of both the teams will be overseen by former Delhi Minister and Campaign and Strategy Committee chairman Shri Haroon Yusuf and Chairman of the Communications Department Shri Anil Bhardwaj.

 

Shri Devender Yadav said that when Congress was in power, many schemes were implemented to provide jobs and direction to the youth, but the 10-year rule of the BJP Government at the Centre has took unemployment to all-time record levels, as the BJP Government made only hollow promises without fulfilling any its promises. He said that as soon as the India Alliance comes to power at the Centre, the first priority would be to fill the 30 lakh job vacancies in various Central Government offices, as Congress will leave no stone unturned in fulfilling its guarantees in the Nyay Patra.

 

Shri Anil Bhardwaj said that there are a large number of young voters in Delhi, most of them unemployed, and the NSUI and Youth Congress teams will impress upon them the neccssity to vote for the Congress and India Alliance to brighten their future, as another term for the BJP Government will only create lakhs of more unemployed youth, to destroy their future.
