DPCC War Room and Control Room fully prepared to tackle any problem the polling and booth agents as well as the voters may face on the polling day on Saturday—Devender Yadav


 Considering the importance of the Lok Sabha election, Shri Rahul Gandhi has addressed public meeting in support of all the three Congress candidates besides interacting with women workers at a Town Hall—Devender Yadav

 

NEW DELHI, May 24, 2024—Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president Shri Devender Yadav today co-ordinated with the Congress workers and leaders regarding allotment of duties to the booth and polling agents for the three Congress candidates of I.N.D.I.A Alliance contesting from Chandni Chowk, North West Delhi and North East Delhi Lok Sabha constituencies. The three Congress candidates and the local leaders have also been entrusted with the responsibility of giving booth management to their polling agents and booth agents on the voting day tomorrow, Saturday, May 25. The Congress candidates have also held several small and big meetings, besides taking out padayatras in various colonies of their respective Lok Sabha constituencies, to take the assurances of the Congress party to the voters.

 

Shri Devender Yadav said that considering the importance of the Lok Sabha elections in Delhi, Shri Rahul Gandhi addressed election meetings in support of   all the three Congress candidates, Shri Jai Prakash Agawal, Dr Udit Raj  and Shri Kanhaiya Kumar, besides addressing a Town Hall with women Congress workers at Mangolpuri.

 

DPCC president Shri Devender Yadav also addressed public meetings and 5 Town Halls with people from various strata of society not only for the Congress candidates, but also for the I.N.D.I.A Alliance candidates. Congress workers have made door-to-door visits to distribute Congress manifesto, consisting of 5 Nyay and 25 Guarantee cards, which people have accepted whole-heartedly.

 

The War Room and the Control Room, set up at the DPCC office, Rajiv Bhawan, have been fully activated and functioning round-the-clock to tackle any problem that may be faced by the polling and booth agents as well as the voters  on the polling day tomorrow. The Control Room, staffed with experts in all aspects of election management, has been functioning at the DPCC office for over a month, and it will keep a relentless vigil on the voting day tomorrow.

 

Local Congress  leaders and workers have been given responsibility for active booth management in the four  Lok Sabha seats where I.N.D.I.A Alliance  candidates are contesting. The polling agents have also been advised to ensure that people come out of their homes to caste their votes in large numbers   in all the 13630 polling booths of Delhi.
