The General Secretary of the All India Congress Committee, former Union Minister, former President of Haryana Congress Committee, in-charge of Uttarakhand, and Congress (India Alliance) candidate from Sirsa Lok Sabha seat,
Kumari Selja has expressed her gratitude to the voters for their support, backing, and love in the Lok Sabha elections for the Sirsa parliamentary seat.

In a statement released to the media, Kumari Selja said that Sirsa is her karmabhoomi (land of work) and the land of her ancestors. She said that her family resides in every house in Sirsa, and the affection she receives from them is her true wealth and capital. She said that the confidence and trust shown in her during the Lok Sabha elections have strengthened her. She said that the public has the opportunity to oust the dictatorial BJP government from power, as the government is running institutions at its own behest, and there is injustice being done to farmers, youth, traders, and women in the country. She emphasized that the real battle in the country is between justice and injustice. She said that when the Congress government comes to power, justice will be served to everyone and the promises and guarantees made by Congress will be fulfilled. She has extended heartfelt thanks to all voters and the revered public for voting.
