The General Secretary of the All India Congress Committee, former Union Minister, member of Congress Working Committee, and Congress candidate from Sirsa Lok Sabha constituency (India Alliance), Kumari Selja said that Priyanka Gandhi will hold a roadshow in Sirsa on 23rd May. The people demanded that Priyanka Gandhi hold a program in Sirsa. She said that the roadshow will start at 8:30 AM in front of Shri Shyam Bagichi in Anaj Mandi and will proceed through various routes, concluding at Sangwan Chowk. On Wednesday, she was speaking to journalists at the residence of former Irrigation and Education Minister Chaudhary Late Jagdish Nehra in Court Colony. Advocate Sandeep Nehra, son of Chaudhary Late Jagdish Nehra, welcomed everyone. Kumari Selja said that this election is against the anti-people policies of the BJP. People are fighting this election to protect their interests. She said that the BJP has no issues and has not undertaken any developmental work, so they are misleading people with absurd statements. Kumari Selja said that they are invoking the name of Ram during elections. Everyone is a devotee of Lord Ram. There is no need for a certificate from BJP or RSS to take Ram's name, and people will not be misled by BJP's statements. She said that the BJP is using various tactics to scare people and create fear, but now people will neither be scared nor be misled by them. Kumari Selja said that in the 10 years of BJP's rule, the people of the country and the state have been harassed by the anti-people policies of the BJP government. She said that during their tenure, the BJP government has only troubled farmers, traders, the poor, laborers, women, and the unemployed, leading to widespread discontent against the BJP across the country, and people's inclination towards the Congress and its supporting parties. Kumari Selja said that in rallies organized by the BJP in Haryana, the Prime Minister did not speak about the work done by the BJP. How could he, when the BJP government has not done any work worth mentioning? Therefore, he resorted to lies and hollow promises. Kumari Selja said that after five phases of voting, it is clear that the BJP and Modi are leaving power, and the Congress and the India Alliance are coming to power. She said that when the Congress government is formed in the country, inflation will be controlled. One lakh rupees annually will be given to one woman in every poor family. Additionally, to eliminate unemployment in the country, more than 3 million jobs will be provided annually, and the debts of poor individuals and farmers will also be waived. Kumari Selja also said that the 5 justice schemes and 25 guarantees promised by Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge on behalf of the Congress party are enough to change the life of every citizen. They will be implemented as soon as the government is formed after June 4. Kumari Selja said that this election is not just for Congress but also for saving the Constitution. It is an election to save democracy. On this occasion MLA Shailly Chaudhary, former Minister Attar Singh Saini, Veer Bhan Mehta, Naveen Kedia, Pushpa Mahant, Prem Sharma, Ghaja Nand Soni, Krishna Dhalla, Amrik Singh, Gurraj Khattar, and former councilor Jashan among others were present.
