Thousands of people expected to attend Shri Rahul Gandhi’s public meeting for the Lok Sabha elections at the Ramlila ground, Ashok Vihar in the Wazirpur Assembly of Chandni Chowk Lok Sabha constituency on Saturday, May 18—Devender Yadav


 Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president Shri Devender Yadav, after taking stock of the arrangements for the massive public meeting to be addressed by Shri Rahul Gandhi at Ramlila Maidan, Ashok Vihar in the Wazirpur Assembly of Chandni Chowk Lok Sabha constituency, on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at 5 p.m, appealed to the Congress workers and leaders to make the public meeting a grand success by motivating workers, leaders and public to attend the meeting in thousands.

 

Shri Devender Yadav today visited the Ramlila ground to review the preparations for the public meeting, and instructed the leaders and workers in charge of the public meeting, that seating arrangements, water and transport should be organised to ensure comfortable arrangements  for the public and workers who attend the rally, as it would be the first public meeting of Shri Rahul Gandhi for the campaigning of Congress and INDIA Alliance candidates for the Lok Sabha elections in Delhi, Shri Jai Prakash Aggarwal is contesting from the Chandni Chowk Lok Sabha constituency.  Shri Devender Yadav said that people were eagerly looking forward to listening to Shri Rahul Gandhi’s address as there was a pronounced wave in favour of the Congress and INDIA Alliance candidates.

 

Shri Devender Yadav visited the Ramlila ground at Ashok Vihar today, along with Chairman of the Communications Department Shri Anil Bhardwaj, ex-MLA, Shri Rajesh Jain, former AICC Secretary Shri Manish Chatrath, Shri Chattar Singh, Shri Kamal Kanth Sharma, former AICC secretary Shri Tarun Kumar, Shri J.S.Neol, Shri Mudit Agarwal, DCC President Manoj Yadav and local leaders.

 

Shri Devender Yadav told the District presidents of Adarsh Nagar and Chandni Chowk to engage E-Rickshaws and Auto rickshaws for the publicity of Shri Rahul Gandhi’s public meeting, as a massive turn out was expected with Congress workers and leaders, India Alliance workers and leaders and local residents participating in it.
