 The Lok Sabha MP and former state president of Pradesh Congress, Kumari Selja said that the people of the country have completely rejected BJP's slogan regarding 370 seats. BJP had promoted the slogan of 400 seats as part of their propaganda, but the public has completely rejected it. Kumari Selja said that the election results have shown how much the Prime Minister's popularity has declined in Varanasi during these Lok Sabha elections.

In a press meeting in Karnal, Kumari Selja said that the people of the country have rejected BJP's efforts to impose their ideology and methods during the elections. The true nature of BJP has been exposed to the nation. Kumari Selja said that morally, BJP has lost these elections. Kumari Selja also said that Congress fought the elections on issues, and Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra and Nyay Yatra had a significant impact on the people. However, Congress will continue the fight.
Kumari Selja has said that BJP, saying that the party is not interested in the welfare of the country but is adept at promoting caste and religion-based propaganda. BJP is currently reliant on the crutch of NDA, and it is uncertain what might happen next. Regarding the five seats won by Congress in Haryana, Kumari Selja congratulated the top leadership and workers of Congress. She also thanked the people and workers of Sirsa for their support in her victory. She said that if Congress had fought more effectively, the results could have been even better. These results make it clear that the people of Haryana have rejected the state's BJP. Even the top leadership of BJP had acknowledged this, which is why they had to change the face of the Chief Minister. However, this will not benefit BJP in the upcoming assembly elections. She said that this will have an impact on the people of Haryana, giving them hope that only a Congress government will benefit them. Kumari Selja said that Congress has always worked for public interest and continues to do so. She congratulated the three ministers from Haryana, including Manohar Lal, and said that the people of Haryana should benefit from this. When asked about factionalism in Congress, she acknowledged that it could end but only if hearts are pure. She said that "I and mine" harm the workers the most because they are the ones who toil. Factionalism only causes harm. When asked about the next government in Haryana, Kumari Selja confidently Said that it will certainly be a Congress government. She said that BJP for doing nothing in Haryana over the past ten years, which is why they faced the consequences in the Lok Sabha elections. She said that employment and development as the major issues in Haryana, where BJP has failed. Simply changing the face of the Chief Minister will not solve anything. Kumari Selja said that millions of youths in Haryana are unemployed and are seeking jobs abroad. The government is unable to provide government jobs, and even when there are exams, the papers get leaked, jeopardizing the future of children. The issue of paper leaks is now being handled by the Supreme Court. She said that even in the private sector, job opportunities are decreasing because small units are shutting down, and BJP is not serious about this matter at all.
Regarding the Congress organization, Kumari Selja said that the top leadership will surely consider this issue. Earlier, upon arriving in Karnal, Congress workers gave a grand welcome to Lok Sabha MP Kumari Selja. On this occasion MLA Shamsher Gogi, Suresh Gupta, Manish Parvez Rana, Inderjit Goraya, Lalit Butana, and Om Prakash Saluja, and senior leaders of Congress party were present.
