ਇਸ ਸਬੰਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਹਰਮੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਕਾਲਕਾ ਅਤੇ ਜਨਰਲ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਜਗਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਕਾਹਲੋਂ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਕੈਂਪ 31 ਜੁਲਾਈ ਬੁੱਧਵਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਾਪੇ ਆ ਕੇ ਸਵੇਰੇ 10 ਵਜੇ ਤੋਂ ਸ਼ਾਮ 4 ਵਜੇ ਤੱਕ ਸਾਡੀ ਟੀਮ ਤੋਂ ਸਲਾਹ ਲੈ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ। ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਜਦੋਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਨੇ ਕਾਮਨ ਐਂਟ੍ਰੈਂਸ ਟੈਸਟ (ਸੀਯੂਈਟੀ) ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ ਤਾਂ ਵੱਡੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਸਦੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਦਾਖਲੇ ਤੋਂ ਵਾਂਝੇ ਰਹਿ ਗਏ ਸਨ।

ਇਸ ਕੈਰੀਅਰ ਕਾਊਂਸਲਿੰਗ ਕੈਂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੁਰੂ ਤੇਗ ਬਹਾਦਰ ਕਾਲਜ ਨਾਰਥ ਕੈਂਪਸ, ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਕਾਲਜ ਆਫ ਕਾਮਰਸ, ਮਾਤਾ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਕਾਲਜ, ਗੁਰੂ ਤੇਗ ਬਹਾਦਰ ਇੰਜੀਨੀਅਰਿੰਗ ਕਾਲਜ ਰਾਜੌਰੀ ਗਾਰਡਨ, 4 ਸੈਨੇਟਰੀ ਇੰਜੀਨੀਅਰਿੰਗ ਕਾਲਜ ਸਮੇਤ ਹੋਰ ਕਾਲਜਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਲੋੜੀਂਦਾ ਸਟਾਫ ਤਾਇਨਾਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।

ਉਹਨਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਕੈਂਪ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਜੋ ਇਸ ਦੂਵਿਧਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਨ ਕਿ 12ਵੀਂ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਖਿਆ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਕਿਹੜੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਖਲਾ ਲੈਣਾ ਹੈ, ਕਿਹੜਾ ਕੋਰਸ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਹੜਾ ਕਰੀਅਰ ਚੁਣਨਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਸੈੱਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੈਡਿਕਲ, ਨਾਨ-ਮੈਡਿਕਲ, ਕਾਮਰਸ ਅਤੇ ਆਰਟਸ ਸਮੇਤ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਸਟ੍ਰੀਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਮਾਰਗਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਦੀ ਵਿਵਸਥਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਸ਼੍ਰੇਣੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਮਾਰਗਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ, ਇੱਥੋਂ ਤਕ ਕਿ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਜੋ ਘੱਟ ਅੰਕਾਂ ਕਾਰਨ ਪੜਾਈ ਛੱਡਣ ਦੀ ਸੋਚਦੇ ਹਨ। ਸਿੱਖ ਕੌਮ ਦੀ ਲੰਬੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੋਂ ਚਲੀ ਆ ਰਹੀ ਮੰਗ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਇਸ ਸੈੱਲ ਦੀ ਸਥਾਪਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਇਸ ਸੈੱਲ ਦਾ ਵੱਧ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਲਾਭ ਚੁਕਣ ਦੀ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ।

दिल्ली,  29  जुलाई। हरियाणा के विधानसभा चुनाव सह प्रभारी एवं सांसद बिप्लब कुमार देब ने कहा कि हरियाणा में कांग्रेस बाप-बेटे तक सीमित है। कांग्रेस अपने परिवारवाद के कारण कोई चुनावी समीकरण नहीं बना सकती। भाजपा कार्यकर्ताओं की पार्टी है और समीकरण बैठाने का काम भाजपा ही कर सकती है। श्री देब ने दावा करते हुए कहा कि हरियाणा में तीसरी बार भाजपा सरकार बननी तय है।
बिप्लब देब ने कहा कि लोकसभा चुनाव और विधानसभा चुनाव कभी एक जैसे नहीं होते। दोनों चुनावों के समीकरण अलग-अलग होते हैं। हरियाणा में विधानसभा के अनुसार अलग-अलग समीकरण है। उन्होंने कहा कि जो पार्टी सही ढंग से समीकरण हैंडल करेगी उसी पार्टी की जीत भी निश्चित है और इसमें भाजपा फिट बैठती है।  श्री देब ने सोमवार को एक निजी समाचार चैनल से बातचीत करते हुए कहा कि कांग्रेस का 10 साल का शासन हरियाणा की जनता ने देखा है। हरियाणा में दलितों के जो हालात थे उसको जनता समझती है। कांग्रेस शासन में पंचकूला में महिला ने आग लगाकर मरना पड़ा, कांग्रेस का काला इतिहास लोगों को मालूम है।  कांग्रेस शासन में गुंडा राज था, बिजनेसमैन अपना बिजनेस सही ढंग से नहीं कर पाते थे, डंडे के दम पर उनकी दुकानें लूट ली जाती थी।
बिप्लब देब ने कहा कि पूर्व सीएम हुड्डा एक ही जिला के मुख्यमंत्री बनकर रहे। 2014 में भाजपा की पहली ऐसी सरकार बनी जिसका मुख्यमंत्री पूरे हरियाणा का बना। पूर्व सीएम मनोहर लाल ने सभी जिलों के लिए बिना भेदभाव के समान रूप से काम किया। मुख्यमंत्री नायब सैनी भी पूरे हरियाणा के लिए काम कर रहे हैं।
सरकार की उपलब्धि बताते हुए बिप्लब देब ने कहा कि हरियाणा के इतिहास में पहली बार युवाओं को बिना पर्ची और बिना खर्ची के नौकरियां मिली। भाजपा ने पारदर्शी शासन व्यवस्था और नीति प्रदेश के लोगों को दी। कांग्रेस पर तंज कसते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि कांग्रेस के लोग झूठ बोलते हैं, राहुल गांधी बचपना जैसी बातें करते हैं, 8500 रुपये हर महीना खटाखट देने की बात करते हैं। लोकसभा चुनाव में आरक्षण खत्म करने और संविधान बदलने की अफवाह और भ्रम की स्थिति पैदा कर कांग्रेस ने जनता के साथ छल किया है। उन्होंने कहा कि झूठ के दम पर एक बार चुनाव जीत सकते हैं बार-बार नहीं।
हरियाणा विधानसभा चुनाव सह प्रभारी ने कहा कि कांग्रेस के लोग फ्यूचर के प्लान के बारे में कभी नहीं बोलते। राहुल गांधी विपक्ष के नेता हैं ऐसा कहीं नहीं लगता। बजट चर्चा पर पूरी दुनिया ने देखा कि राहुल गांधी किस तरह बजट पर चर्चा करने की बजाए इधर-उधर की बातें करते रहे। उन्होंने कहा कि विपक्ष के लीडर की एक गरिमा होती है, जो राहुल गांधी में कहीं दिखाई नहीं देती। कांग्रेस तीन चुनाव के बाद भी 240 का आंकड़ा पार नहीं कर पाई।
बिप्लब देब ने कहा कि कांग्रेस का जातिगत जनगणना का सपना सिर्फ सपना बनकर ही रहेगा। लोकतंत्र में हर व्यक्ति को अपनी बात रखने का अधिकार है। उन्होंने सवाल करते हुए कहा कि राहुल गांधी बताएं कि वो किस जाति से आते हैं।
बिप्लब कुमार देब ने आम आदमी पार्टी को भी घेरा। उन्होंने कहा कि आम आदमी पार्टी की खुद की कोई गारंटी नहीं है। हरियाणा के लोग स्वाभिमानी हैं और उन्हें मुफ्त में कुछ नहीं चाहिए वे मेहनत करना जानते हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि चुनाव की एक कैमिस्ट्री होती है, सोशल समीकरण होते हैं और लीडरशिप होती है और ये तीनों खूबिया भारतीय जनता पार्टी के पास है।
बिप्लब देब ने कहा कि भाजपा सरकार ने युवा, गरीब, महिला और किसान को सशक्त करने का काम किया है। आंगनवाड़ी और आशा वर्कर को वेतन सिर्फ हरियाणा में ही दिया जाता है। हरियाणा ही देश का ऐसा पहला राज्य है जहां 14 फसलों को एमएसपी पर खरीदा जाता है। श्री देब ने कहा कि भाजपा ढिंढोरा नहीं पीटती, बल्कि काम करके दिखाती है। भाजपा जातियों में नहीं बल्कि युवा, गरीब, महिला और किसान इन चार वर्गों में विश्वास करती है और इन वर्गों के विकास के लिए काम करती है। ये चारों वर्ग ही भाजपा के स्तंभ है। बिप्लब देब ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के नेतृत्व में भारत दुनिया की पांचवी  सबसे बड़ी आर्थिक ताकत वाला देश बना है और जल्द ही तीसरी अर्थव्यवस्था वाला भारत मोदी के नेतृत्व में बनेगा।

DPCC president Shri Devender Yadav appeals to the Congress workers to interact with the local people more often, to earn their trust and confidence

 

NEW DELHI, July 28, 2024—Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president Shri Devender Yadav addressed a meeting of the Executive Committee of the Chandni Chowk District Congress Committee at the Ghalib Auditorium, near the Mata Sundari College, Rouse Avenue today, to prepare the party’s roadmap for the Delhi Assembly elections next year. He exhorted the Congress workers to interact with the people through door-to-door visits and tell them about the achievements when Congress was in power in Delhi for 15 years, and how the Kejriwal Government had ruined the infrastructure of the  green and clean city with its misrule in the past 10 years.  Two minutes silence was observed before the start of the meeting to pay homage to the Civil Services aspirants who died in Rajinder Nagar due to water-logging at the basement of a coaching institute.

 

Shri Devender Yadav said that  Delhi Congress had always raised its voice to highlight the issues affecting the people and for getting them the basic facilities when those in power neglect the people. The meeting was organised by District president Mirza Javed.

 

Besides Shri Devender Yadav, prominent other leaders present at the meeting were Former Delhi Minister Shri Haroon Yusuf, Chairman of the Communications Department and ex-MLA Shri Anil Bhardwaj, Ex MLAs Rajesh Jain, Kunwar Karan Singh, Shadi Ram and Vijay Lochav, District Observers Abdul Hanan and Raj Kumar Jain, Ex MCs Prerna Singh, Thakur Dass and Ashok Jain, Jatin Sharma, Jagjivan Sharma, Abdul Wahid, all Block and District presidents, office-bearers of frontal organizations, cells and departments etc.

 

Shri Devender Yadav said that the Congress workers should come out of their homes and get involved in   people’s problems, and wherever necessary, hold protest demonstrations and marches to open the eyes of the officials, and get the people’s problems solved, which will attract the people of Delhi to Congress and strengthen the party at the granss root level. He told the Congress workers and leaders that very little time was left for the Assembly elections, and they should, therefore, interact with the people, and involve in their activities to earn their trust and confidence, as Congress had always taken a pro-people stance on various issues. He said that for the Congress, the welfare of the people was first and foremost.

 

Shri Devender Yadav appealed to the Congress workers to hoist the party flag at their houses, as people were now looking upto the Congress to come to power, and save them from the present misrule, to provide able and stable governance, as the Aam Aadmi Party Government and the BJP, due to their constant bickering and negative politics and incompetence, had stalled all the development works in the Capital. He also announced that next month, the monthly Block Congress Committee meeting will be held on August 4, instead of August 2, as Shivratri falls on that day.

NEW DELHI, July 29, 2024—Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee, under the leadership of DPCC president Shri Devender Yadav, today held candle-light marches in all the 14 districts of Delhi to pray for eternal peace to the souls of the three Civil Service aspirants, who died following waterlogging at the basement of a tuition centre in Old Rajinder Nagar and another Civil Service student, who died of electrocution at Patel Nagar, and to get  justice for the families of the students who died. Shri Devender Yadav also demanded strict  action against those responsible for these mishaps, which claimed precious lives of students who had a bright future.

 

Shri Devender Yadav also demanded payment of Rs 1 crore compensation to the parents of the students who died. He also sought the resignation of Delhi Water Minister Atishi and Mayor of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) Shelly Oberoi for their inaction and negligence of duty in preventing such repeated mishaps.

 

The candle-light marches were held at Samrat Chowk at Adarsh Nagar District, Shakurpur, Hauz Qazi Chowk in the Chandni Chowk District, Metro Station, Chawri Bazar, Daroga Market in the Karawal Nagar District, Burari Chowk, Sweet Market in Babarpur District, Rain Basera, Seelampur, Main Chowk, Trilokpuri in Patparganj District, Jheel Tanga Stand in Krishna Nagar District, Haathi Wala Chowk, Karol Bagh District, Arya Samaj Road, Karol Bagh, Sector-8, R.K.Puram in New Delhi District, Mangolpuri Khurd in Rohini District, Kanjhawala Road, Nangloi Railway Station Road, Kirari District, Jat Dharmashala, 830 Bus Stand, Tilak Nagar District, opposite Masjid, Khyala, Dhansa Metro Station, Najafgarh District, Palam Metro Station in Mehrauli District,  under Palam Flyover, Peepal Wala Chowk, Badarpur District, Khanpur. District presidents, students, Congress workers and local residents participated in the candle-light march and demanded justice to the families of the dead students and severe punishment for those responsible for these accidents.

Shri Devender Yadav said that precious lives of students who would have been great assets for the country’s progress and development were lost due to the neglect, incompetence and inaction of the Aam Aadmi Party-ruled Delhi Government and the Municipal Corporation of Delhi, though Delhi Minister Atishi and Mayor Shelly Oberoi spare no opportunity in blaming others for their own failures and mistakes as they were solely responsible for these tragedies and action should be taken against them. He said that the AAP and BJP were only indulging in blame games as they were in power in the Delhi Government and the MCD, but did nothing to improve the ageing infrastructure.

NEW DELHI, July 28, 2024—Delhi Pradesh Congresss Committee president Shri Devender Yadav demanded strictest action against those responsible for the death of three IAS aspirants due to waterlogging at the basement of a leading Civil Services tuition centre at Rajinder Nagar after he visited the spot of the mishap. He said that it was indeed very shocking that this incident came on the heels of the electrocution of another IAS aspirant four days ago, which was also due to the negligence and incompetence of the Delhi Government and the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), both ruled by the Aam Aadmi Party. He said that it was a matter of extreme sadness that such bright minds became victims of official apathy and negligence as  the Kejriwal Government’s incompetence and corruption in carrying out the desilting works and its failure to tackle monsoon woes, resulted in such tragedies. He pointed out that filthy water overflowed from the drain nearby to flood the basement, catching the young students without any escape route.

 

Congress workers held a candle march to mourn the death of the young Civil Services aspirants, whose lives were sniffed out due to the negligence of those in power.

 

Shri Devender Yadav said that Congress party will fully support the students agitating for justice, as the recent mishaps happened due  to the inefficiency and incompetence of the  concerned Delhi Ministers, officials and the MCD Mayor and officials, as they realized about the gravity of their mistakes only after many lives had been lost.

 

Shri Devender Yadav said that Delhi Congress has been raising the issue of water-logging and non- desilting of the drains for the past few weeks after the first major monsoon showers had waterlogged most parts of Delhi. He said that Congress leader  Shri Rahul Gandhi had slammed the authorities for colluding in the illegal constructions which contributed to the latest deaths of IAS aspirants. He said that the Delhi Government does not seem to have learned any lessons from the past incidents of deaths and destruction, as in 2023, 50-60 students had suffered serious injuries following a major fire at a coaching institute in Mukherjee Nagar, and on 29 June, 2024  two children, aged 8 and 10 years old,  drowned after falling in a deep rainwater ditch in the New Usmanpur area of Delhi.

 

Shri Devender Yadav said that in the past 10 years, the Kejriwal Govrnment had only made hollow promises to mislead the people instead of taking effective steps to improve the infrastructure, and improve the drainage system and desilting works, though thousands of crores have been swindled in the name of desilting of drains and sewers. He said that the Aam Aadmi Party came to power in the MCD promising to remove garbage from Delhi, particularly in eliminating the three landfill mountains, but due to the shadow boxing and blame games between the BJP and the Aam Aadmi Party, no work gets done in the MCD, and the garbage mountains had only gained in height in the past one year.

 

Shri Devender Yadav said this year, many lives had been lost due to waterlogging, drowning and electrcocution as on June 25, a woman died due to electrocution at the New Delhi Railway Station, on 27 June, a 17-year-old died at Taimur Nagar due to electrocution, on 28 June, a man was electrocuted at Kirari,  on 29 June, two children died at Sirsapur underpass due to electrocution, a  worker engaged in the Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narayanan Hospital construction work was electrocuted on July 2, and on July 13, a woman was electrocuted at Yamuna Vihar. He said that all these deaths had happened due to the irresponsible and criminal negligence of the Delhi Government and the power distribution companies, and they have all been getting scotfree even after the deaths of so many innocent people.

Chandigarh, 27th,July.

The General Secretary of the All India Congress Committee, former Union Minister, and Member of Parliament from Sirsa Kumari Selja has made serious allegations against the BJP government. She said there is a significant difference between what the BJP says and does, and it only makes empty promises about protecting the interests of the backward classes and scheduled castes. Kumari Selja said that the BJP government harbors hatred towards the backward classes, economically weaker sections (EWS), and scheduled castes, and is therefore conspiring to exclude their candidates from the Haryana Police constable recruitment. She said that in some cases, candidates' heights are being measured incorrectly, and in others, certificates are being dismissed as outdated to deny reservation benefits despite eligibility.

In a statement released to the media Kumari Selja said that under the guise of a conspiracy, the BJP government is making widespread irregularities in the ongoing Physical Measurement Test (PMT) process for police constable recruitment. She noted that many candidates from the BC-A and scheduled castes have alleged irregularities in height measurements in 2024 compared to 2022. Several candidates have presented certificates from both 2022 and 2024 as evidence, showing discrepancies in height measurements. The former Union Minister also said that a conspiracy is being hatched against OBC and EWS candidates. The Haryana Staff Selection Commission has disqualified OBC and EWS candidates from reservation benefits by labeling their certificates as outdated. Kumari Selja said that candidates who are facing irregularities have complained to the government, but their grievances are not being addressed. This clearly indicates that the BJP government wants to make irregularities in recruitment to favour their preferred candidates and people from other states. She said the BJP government is using all means to mislead the state's people, but the voters have now understood their tricks and are waiting for the assembly elections to oust this anti-people government from power.

 Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president Shri Devender Yadav today inaugurated the Sadbhavana Kavad Shivir camps at Jaffrabad (Seelampur) and main road, Shastri Park, and inspected the arrangements made for the Kavad pilgrims for rest and relaxation  on way to Hardwar to fetch the holy Ganga water and back, for the abolution of the holy water on the idols of Lord Shiva  on Shivratri.

 

Shri Devender Yadav said that the Sadbhavana Kavad Shivir camp at Jaffrabad, organised by District Congress Committee president Shri Zubair Ahmed, and his father and ex-MLA Shri Matin Ahmed earlier, for the past 30 years, was a perfect example of religious unity and harmony, as the Muslim community  joins in the organization of the Sadbhavana Kavad Shivir Camp wholeheartedly, to make all the necessary arrangements for the pilgrims in the tents.

मीडिया को जारी बयान में कुमारी सैलजा ने कहा कि यात्रा के दौरान पूर्व केंद्रीय मंत्री एवं कांग्रेस के वरिष्ठ नेता चौधरी बीरेंद्र सिंह, अखिल भारतीय कांग्रेस कमेटी के महासचिव, कर्नाटक के प्रभारी एवं राज्यसभा सांसद रणदीप सिंह सुरजेवाला समेत हरियाणा कांग्रेस के विभिन्न नेता साथ रहेंगे। उन्होंने बताया कि कांग्रेस के शीर्ष नेतृत्व, राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष मल्लिकार्जुन खड़गे, पूर्व अध्यक्ष एवं विपक्ष के नेता राहुल गांधी का संदेश जन-जन तक पहुंचाने के लिए फिर से कांग्रेस संदेश यात्रा शुरू की जा रही है। प्रदेश के लोगों को बताया जाएगा कि किस तरह से अहंकारी एवं तानाशाह शासक की जन विरोधी गतिविधियों के कारण आज देश में लोकतांत्रिक संकट खड़ा कर दिया गया है। देश में धार्मिक भावनाएं व सांप्रदायिक उन्माद फैलाकर सत्ता पर काबिज रहने का कुचक्र रचा जा रहा है। इससे जनतंत्र में जन की भावनाएं आहत हो रही हैं। पूर्व केंद्रीय मंत्री ने कहा कि देश की आर्थिक स्थिति पूरी तरह से डांवांडोल है। देश में भीषण महंगाई, बेरोजगारी, भय और भ्रष्टाचार का आलम है। जनता को यह संदेश पहुंचाने के लिए प्रदेश में कांग्रेस संदेश यात्रा निकाली जा रही है। कांग्रेस के निष्ठावान कार्यकर्ता इस यात्रा के दौरान आम नागरिकों, युवाओं, किसानों और मजदूरों के साथ-साथ विभिन्न समाज सहयोगी व गैर राजनीतिक संगठनों से मिलेंगे और उनकी तकलीफों को समझने के साथ लोगों को एहसास कराया जाएगा कि कांग्रेस सदैव ही आम जनता के साथ खड़ी रहकर देश एवं प्रदेश की प्रगति के लिए काम करती रही है।

कुमारी सैलजा ने कहा कि कांग्रेस संदेश यात्रा के माध्यम से कांग्रेस यह भी बताएगी कि पार्टी ने अपने जन सहभागी शासन में किस तरह से देश और प्रदेश को मजबूत करने का काम किया। आजादी के बाद कांग्रेस को देश की एक बिखरी हुई तस्वीर मिली थी। देश एकदम खाली था लेकिन कांग्रेस ने इन चुनौतियों को स्वीकार करते हुए देश की आर्थिक स्थिति मजबूत की और इतनी प्रगति हुई कि देश पूरी दुनिया में मजबूत हुआ। पूर्व कंद्रीय मंत्री ने कहा कि कांग्रेस संदेश यात्रा प्रदेश के शहरी इलाकों में जाकर जनता के संघर्ष की आवाज बनेगी। जन भावनाओं के साथ एक सशक्त भारत के निर्माण में हरियाणा प्रदेश की महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका सुनिश्चित करने के लिए कांग्रेस संदेश यात्रा मजबूत आधार तैयार करेगी। प्रदेश की संघर्षशील, कर्मठ, निष्पक्ष और निर्भीक जनता से आह्वान किया जाएगा कि राष्ट्र निर्माण, स्वच्छ प्रशासन, भेदभाव रहित-भ्रष्टाचार मुक्त राजनीति और प्रशासन कायम करने के लिए विधानसभा चुनाव में कांग्रेस का साथ दें।

नई दिल्ली 25 जुलाई: दिल्ली सिख गुरुद्वारा प्रबन्धक कमेटी धर्म प्रचार के चेयरमैन जसप्रीत सिंह करमसर ने जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि आठवें गुरु नानक ज्योति बाला प्रीतम गुरु हरिकृष्ण साहिब जी जिन्होंने दिल्ली के गुरुद्वारा बंगला साहिब में जहां राजा जय सिंह का बंगला हुआ करता था वहां बैठकर दिल्ली में फैली चेचक की महामारी से लोगों को निजात दिलाई, उसी स्थान पर आज गुरुद्वारा बंगला साहिब सुशोभित है जहां लाखों श्रधालु नतमस्कर होकर अपने दुख दूर करते हैं। गुरु हरिकृष्ण साहिब का प्रकाश पर्व 28 जुलाई को आ रहा है जिसके सम्बन्ध में दिल्ली के सभी एतिहासिक गुरुद्वारों में कीर्तन समागम के कार्यक्रम रखे गए हैं। विशेष दीवान गुरुद्वारा रकाब गंज साहिब के लख्खीशाह वंजारा हाल में किया जायेगा जिसमें दिल्ली कमेटी अध्यक्ष हरमीत सिंह कालका एवं महासचिव जगदीप सिंह काहलो के द्वारा पंथक विचार भी संगत के साथ किये जायेंगे।

सः जसप्रीत सिंह करमसर ने बताया कि गुरुद्वारा शीश गंज साहिब, गुरुद्वारा मोती बाग, गुरुद्वारा नानक प्याउ, गुरुद्वारा बाला साहिब सहित अन्य सभी एतिहासिक गुरुद्वारा साहिबान में विषेश दीवान सजाए जायंेगे जिसमें पंथ प्रसिध कीर्तनी जत्थे गुरबाणी कीर्तन संगत को श्रवण करवाएंगे। कथा वाचकों द्वारा गुरु साहिब के जीवन इतिहास की कथा की जायेगी। गुरु हरिकृष्ण पब्लिक स्कूलों के बच्चों के द्वारा विषेश तौर पर भाग लेकर कीर्तन किया जायेगा। 28 जुलाई को सुबह गुरुद्वारा रकाब गंज साहिब में अमृत संचार का कार्यक्रम भी होगा जो संगत अमृतपान करने की इच्छुक हो वह केशी स्नान करके तैयार होकर पहुंचे ककार उन्हें कमेटी द्वारा दिये जायेंगे। 

सः जसप्रीत सिंह करमसर ने बताया कि दिल्ली के अलग अलग हिस्सों से संगत प्रभातफेरी के रुप में भी 28 तारीख को सुबह गुरुद्वारा बंगला साहिब पहंुचेगी जिनका कमेटी द्वारा स्वागत किया जायेगा।

शिव बाबा कॉवड़ सेवा समिति स्वतन्त्र नगर नरेला दिल्ली ने जनपद बागपत में अपने 19 वें विशाल कावड़ शिविर का शुभारम्भ कर दिया। शिविर का शुभारम्भ हवन-पूजन के साथ हुआ। हवन कुंड़ में लोगों ने कावड़ियों की निर्विध्न यात्रा के पूर्ण होने और समस्त विश्व के कल्याण के लिए आहूति डाली। शिव बाबा कावड़ सेवा समिति स्वतन्त्र नगर नरेला दिल्ली द्वारा लगाये गये 19 वे विशाल कावड़ शिविर में भोलों का आना प्रारम्भ हो गया है। स्वतंत्र नगर नरेला दिल्ली के रहने वाले राहुल नाम के भोले के 101 किलो जल के साथ शिविर में पहुॅंचने पर उसका भव्य स्वागत किया गया। राहुल ने बताया कि जल का वजन 101 किलो है और पूरी कावड़ का वजन 120 किलो है। बताया कि 6 जुलाई की शाम को 6 बजकर 6 मिनट पर वह और उसके दो साथी सोनू और बब्लू हर की पौड़ी से गंगा जल लेकर चले है। बब्लू 61 किलो और सोनू 21 किलो गंगा जल के साथ चल रहा है। बताया कि भगवान शिव की कृपा से यात्रा में कोई कष्ट नही हुआ। शिव बाबा कावड़ सेवा समिति की और से कृष्ण दहिया ने बताया कि शिविर में भोलों को अच्छी से अच्छी सेवा प्रदान करने के लिए समिति ने पूरी व्यवस्था कर ली  है। शिविर इस बार गुफा वाले बाबा मन्दिर से बड़ौत की तरफ जाने वाली सड़क पर लगभग आधा किलोमीटर दूरी पर लघवाड़ी मोड़ के निकट लगाया गया है। इस अवसर पर राजसिंह राणा, जय नारायण पंड़ित, महावीर दहिया, सागर गर्ग, रामप्रसाद, राकेश, जगबीर दहिया, हरीश पंड़ित, कर्मवीर मलिक, देवेन्द्र, उमेद चौहान, डॉ नरेन्द्र, प्रमोद सहित सैकड़ों लोग उपस्थित थे।

संसद में बोले बिप्लब कुमार देब, एमएसपी का सबसे ज्यादा फायदा हरियाणा को मिला

भ्रष्टाचार, दलित अत्याचार और महिला उत्पीडन पर कांग्रेस को घेरा

लोकसभा में बजट पर बोलते हुए त्रिपुरा के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री और हरियाणा विधानसभा चुनावों के सहप्रभारी बिप्लब कुमार देब ने बजट को ग्रामीण युवा और किसान समर्थक बताया।
हरियाणा के सिरसा से सांसद कुमारी सेलजा द्वारा उठाए गए सवालों का जवाब देते हुए बिप्लब देब ने कहा कि मोदी जी के आने के बाद इंटर्नशिप और नौकरियों के बारे में उन युवाओं के लिए भी सोचा गया जो युवा ग्रामीण और साधारण कॉलेज में पढ़ते हैं। बजट में उनके शिक्षा और रोजगार के लिए अलग से प्रावधान किया गया है।
किसानों के मुद्दे पर आंकड़ों सहित जवाब देते हुए बिप्लब कुमार देब ने कहा कि पिछले 10 सालों में एमएसपी पर खरीदी गई फसलों का भुगतान लगभग 14 लाख करोड़ रुपए किया गया है, जिसका सबसे ज्यादा फायदा हरियाणा के किसानों को हुआ है।
इस बजट में किसान कल्याण और खाद पर सब्सिडी के लिए भी अलग से बड़ी रकम का प्रावधान किया गया है। संसद में बजट पर प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी और वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण का धन्यवाद करते हुए श्री देब ने प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी को समाज सुधारक कहा।
सांसद बिप्लब ने कहा कि मोदी सरकार जब स्वच्छ भारत की बात करती है तो केवल साफ सफाई की नहीं, बल्कि भ्रष्टाचार को खत्म करने की बात करती हैं। आज मोदी के नेतृत्व में देश सुरक्षित है। श्री देब ने कहा कि भारत 2047 तक दुनिया की नंबर-1 आर्थिक शक्ति होगा। केंद्रीय वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण ने 48 लाख करोड़ का बजट पेश कर विकसित भारत की तस्वीर पेश की है। श्री देब बुधवार को संसद में बजट चर्चा पर बोल रहे थे। उन्होंने मोदी सरकार के तीसरे कार्यकाल के पहले बजट की सराहना की और प्रधानमंत्री तथा केंद्रीय वित्त मंत्री का बेहतरीन बजट पेश करने पर आभार जताया। संसद में श्री देब ने कांग्रेस को भी घेरा। उन्होंने कहा कि कांग्रेस के शासनकाल में एससी/एसटी पर अत्याचार होते थे, अपने ही देश में लोगों को रिफ्यूजी कैंपों में रहना पड़ता था।
बिप्लब देब ने कहा कि यूपीए के समय देश की आर्थिक स्थिति अच्छी नहीं थी, कांग्रेस के समय 2013-14 में 16 लाख करोड़ के आस-पास बजट होता था और मोदी सरकार में अब 48 लाख करोड़ तक पहुंच गया है। 2014 में मोदी सरकार बनने के बाद पारदर्शी आर्थिक व्यवस्था लागू हुई और आज भारत दुनिया की पांचवी सबसे बड़ी आर्थिक ताकत वाला देश है। कोरोना महामारी के बावजूद देश ने तरक्की की और सर्वे के मुताबिक अब हमारी जीडीपी 6.50 से 7 प्रतिशत तक रहने वाली है यह सब मोदी जी के नेतृत्व का ही कमाल है। 2023-24 के मुकाबले 2024-2025 के इस बजट में 18.2 प्रतिशत कैपिटल एक्सपेंडीचर ज्यादा है जो साधारण बात नहीं है। उन्होंने कहा कि इस बार देश के सभी राज्यों को 4 लाख 82 हजार करोड़ रुपये ज्यादा मिलेंगे, जिससे देश का सर्वांगीण विकास होगा।
बिप्लब देब ने कहा कि बजट में 5 वर्षों में 4.1 करोड़ युवाओं को रोजगार मुहैया कराने की गारंटी दी है। इसके साथ ही देश की 500 टॉप कंपनियों में हमारे एक करोड़ युवाओं को इंटरशिप का मौका देने का प्रावधान किया है। इंटरशिप के बाद 100 प्रतिशत रोजगार की गारंटी है। बजट की तारीफ करते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि यह मोदी सरकार का ऐसा बजट है जो रोजगार की भी गारंटी देता है।
श्री देब ने कहा कि कांग्रेस ने दलितों, एससी व एसटी की उन्नति और तरक्की की कभी नहीं सोची। कांग्रेस ने गरीब युवाओं को कभी रोजगार की दृष्टि से समझा ही नहीं, जबकि मोदी सरकार ने बजट में शिक्षा और रोजगार के लिए 1.48 लाख करोड़ का प्रावधान किया है।
बजट सत्र के दौरान संसद में बैठी हरियाणा के सिरसा से सांसद कुमारी शैलजा की ओर ईशारा करते हुए श्री देब ने कहा कि मोदी सरकार ने 10 सालों में लगभग 14 लाख करोड़ रुपये एमएसपी के रूप में किसानों को दिए हैं। कुमारी शैलजा को बताते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि हरियाणा में सबसे ज्यादा एमएसपी किसानों को भाजपा सरकार दे रही है। हिसार में एयरपोर्ट भी तैयार हो चुका है। पीएम मोदी के काम करने के तरीके से ही देश दुग्ध उत्पादन में नंबर-1 है, मोटे अनाज उत्पादन में नंबर 1 है, चावल गेहूं उत्पादन में नंबर 2 पर है।
बिप्लब देब ने कहा कि मोदी सरकार ने गरीब व्यक्ति को पीएम आवास के तहत फ्री मकान, मकान में स्वच्छ जल, गैस, शौचालय जैसी सुविधाएं दी हैं। अगर गरीब आदमी बीमार होता है तो उसे आष्युमान योजना के तहत 5 लाख रुपये तक के इलाज की गारंटी दी है। 80 करोड़ गरीब लोगों को फ्री राशन दिया जा रहा है। मोदी की नीतियों का परिणाम है कि 25 करोड़ लोग गरीबी रेखा से निकलकर मध्यम वर्ग में शामिल हुए हैं।
कांग्रेस को निशाने पर लेते हुए श्री देब ने कहा कि जिस पार्टी की महिला नेता प्रधानमंत्री रही हो, यूपीए में सोनिया गांधी चेयरपर्सन रही उस कांग्रेस की सरकार में महिला आरक्षण बिल पास ना हो और बिल को फाड़ कर फेंक देना शर्मनाक है। उन्होंने कहा कि मुझे पीएम मोदी पर गर्व है कि उन्होंने दोनों हाउस में महिला आरक्षण बिल पास कराकर महिलाओं को नेतृत्व का अधिकार दिया है। मोदी शासन में महिलाएं आत्मनिर्भर बन रही है। 10 करोड़ बहनें स्वयं सहायता समूह से जुड़ी हैं। ड्रोन दीदी अपने परिवार का सहारा बन रही है। 400 करोड़ रुपये बजट में महिलाओं के लिए आवंटित किए गए हैं।
बिप्लब देब ने कहा कि कांग्रेस ने नॉर्थ ईस्ट को कभी महत्व नहीं दिया। कांग्रेस शासन में नॉर्थ ईस्ट में 9 एयरपोर्ट थे और अब मोदी सरकार ने 100 एयरपोर्ट बना दिए और सभी राज्यों को रेलवे से जोड़ा है। कांग्रेस के समय सिर्फ भ्रष्टाचार होता था। पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री मनमोहन सिंह आसाम से राज्यसभा सांसद रहे और 10 साल तक प्रधानमंत्री रहे, लेकिन कभी आसाम नहीं गए। उन्होंने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री मोदी 10 सालों में 90 बार नॉर्थ ईस्ट गए।
बजट चर्चा के दौरान बिप्लब देब ने कांग्रेस को घेरते हुए कहा कि जो आज संविधान को हाथ में लेकर बड़ी-बड़ी बातें करते हैं वो बताएं कि 1975 में आपातकाल क्यों लगाया गया? अनुच्छेद 370  लगाकर 70 बार संविधान की हत्या कांग्रेस ने की। बंगाल की मुख्यमंत्री ममता बनर्जी को भी अच्छी तरह याद है  कि वे कांग्रेस से अलग क्यों हुई? किस तरह से वामपंथियों ने उनके सिर को फोड़ा था।  त्रिपुरा में कांग्रेस सरकार होने के बावजूद भी राष्ट्रपति शासन लगाकर सीपीएम को बैठाकर मित्रता निभाई गई।
400 पार का ताना देने वालों पर बरसते हुए श्री देब ने कहा कि कांग्रेस तो तीन बार मिलाकर भी 240 सीटें नहीं ला पाई। कांग्रेस को 400 पार की चिंता करने की जरूरत नहीं है भाजपा और एनडीए की 2047 तक सरकार निरंतर रहने वाली है और 400 पार भी होंगे। कांग्रेस पर निशाना साधते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि कांग्रेस शासन में त्रिपुरा के अंदर अपने ही देश में 32 हजार परिवार 23 वर्षों तक रिफ्यूजी कैंपों में रहे। श्री देब ने कहा कि अब प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने 700 करोड़ का पैकेज देकर 36 हजार परिवारों को उनका हक दिलाया है। एससी, एसटी और दलित तथा गरीब लोगों के लिए मोदी सरकार ने काम किया है।

वरिष्ठ स्वतंत्रता सेनानी डॉ.दरबारी लाल अस्थाना का जन्मोत्सव, बुधवार 24 जुलाई 2024 को नरही स्थित प्राथमिक विद्यालय में मनाया गया। डॉ.दरबारी लाल अस्थाना ट्रस्ट की ओर से आयोजित इस समारोह में जादूगर सुरेश के दल में शामिल एस.के.सिंह और आफताब द्वारा देशभक्ति और पानी बचाओ का संदेश दिया गया। इसी क्रम में राजेन्द्र त्रिपाठी और शिब्बू की मंडली ने पपेट शो के माध्यम से वृक्षारोपण और स्वच्छता के लिए लोगों को प्रेरित किया। विद्यालय के बच्चों ने इस रंगारंग और प्रेरक कार्यक्रम का भरपूर आनन्द लिया। इस अवसर पर सम्मान समारोह भी हुआ। जयंती समारोह में विद्यालय की प्रधानाचार्या रचना पांडेय ने वृक्षारोपण अभियान के तहत अमरूद के वृक्ष का रोपण भी विद्यालय परिसर में किया। उन्होंने बच्चों के सर्वांगीण विकास के लिए शिक्षा के साथ-साथ दीक्षा पर भी जोर दिया। इस अवसर पर विद्यालय परिवार की ओर से प्रधानाचार्या सहित सहायक अध्यापिका शैफाली शर्मा, मुदित कुमार शर्मा, अश्विनी कुमार सहित अध्यापक मनीष चौहान और राम कैलाश आदि का भी सम्मान किया गया। ट्रस्ट की ओर से संयोजक आनन्द अस्थाना के साथ कार्यक्रम सहयोगियों में शामिल थिएटर एंड फिल्म वेलफेयर एसोसिएशन के सचिव दबीर सिद्दीकी, नव अंशिका फाउण्डेशन की निदेशिका नीशू त्यागी, भारतीयम् बाल एवं युवा विकास एवं शोध संस्थान की उपाध्यक्ष शुभ्रा अस्थाना, सचिव प्रदीप नागर और उपसचिव रत्ना अस्थाना, उत्तर प्रदेश संस्कृति विभाग द्वारा संचालित रेडियो जयघोष की एडमिन अंकिता पांडेय और आर.जे. समरीन सहित अन्य विशिष्ट जन उपस्थित रहे। डॉ.दरबारी लाल अस्थाना के पुत्र और भारतेन्दु नाट्य अकादमी के पूर्व निदेशक पुनीत अस्थाना ने सुप्रसिद्ध स्वतंत्रता सेनानी डॉ.दरबारी लाल अस्थाना के प्रेरक प्रसंग सुनाए। उन्होंने बताया वरिष्ठ स्वतंत्रता सेनानी डॉ.दरबारी लाल अस्थाना का जन्म 24 जुलाई 1905 को आगरा में हुआ था। अंग्रेजी हुकूमत के दौरान राजकीय कॉलेज आगरा में बहिष्कार आन्दोलन से वह राष्ट्र सेवा के क्षेत्र में सक्रिय हुए। वृन्दावन स्थित सुप्रसिद्ध प्रेम महाविद्यालय में उन्होंने ग्रामोत्थान का कार्य किया और ब्रज के अनेक गांवों का दौरा कर आम लोगों में आज़ादी और राष्ट्रीयता की भावना जगायी थी। डॉ.दरबारी लाल अस्थाना को ग्रामीण अर्थशास्त्र और पुनर्निर्माण कार्य का विशेष अध्ययन करने के लिये गुरु रविन्द्र नाथ टैगोर के विश्वविख्यात शान्तिनिकेतन भी भेजा गया था जहां गुरुदेव ने उन्हें एक कलम भी आशीर्वाद स्वरूप भेंट किया था। युसुफ मेहर अली द्वारा संचालित अखिल भारतीय युवक आन्दोलन में भी डॉ.दरबारी लाल अस्थाना सक्रिय रहे थे। सिंधियों के महान आध्यात्मिक गुरु श्रीयुत टी.एल.वासवानी के भारतीय सांस्कृतिक पुनरुत्थान आंदोलन में भी डॉ. दरबारी लाल अस्थाना ने अहम भूमिका अदा की थी। उसकी शाखाओं की स्थापना के लिये डॉ.दरबारी लाल अस्थाना ने देशभर का दौरा भी किया था। महात्मा गांधी के सत्याग्रह आन्दोलन में डॉ. दरबारी लाल अस्थाना काफी सक्रिय रहे थे। साल 1930 में वृंदावन स्थित प्रेम महाविद्यालय के छात्रों के साथ जब डॉ. दरबारी लाल अस्थाना सत्याग्रह आन्दोलन कर रहे थे तब उन्हें 9 सी-12 धारा के तहत गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया था। 4 अगस्त 1930 को उन्हें छह महीने का कठोर कारावास का दंड सुनाया गया। 11 अक्टूबर 1930 में उन्हें मथुरा जेल से सीतापुर जेल में ट्रांसफर किया गया था। स्वतंत्रता प्राप्ति के बाद डॉ. दरबारी लाल अस्थाना ने देहरादून में रहकर मेडिकल प्रैक्टिस आरंभ की। बाद में वह लखनऊ आ गए और साल 1954 से उन्होंने उत्तर प्रदेश गांधी स्मारक निधि लखनऊ केन्द्र के संचालक के रूप में लम्बे समय तक कार्य किया। उन्होंने गांधी तत्व प्रचार के लिए उत्तर प्रदेश में अनेकों गांधी अध्ययन केन्द्रों और युवा शिविरों का आयोजन किया। स्वतंत्रता के पच्चीसवें वर्ष के अवसर पर स्वतंत्रता संग्राम में स्मरणीय योगदान के लिए राष्ट्र की ओर से तत्कालीन प्रधानमंत्री इंदिरा गांधी ने उन्हें 15 अगस्त 1972 को ताम्रपत्र से सम्मानित किया था। 3 मार्च 1985 को लगभग 80 वर्ष की आयु में उनका स्वर्गवास हुआ था। उन्हें अपने देश पर गर्व और बच्चों से असीम प्रेम था।

NEW DELHI,  July 23, 2024---Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee President Shri Devender Yadav, while addressing the executive committee meeting of the Babarpur District Congress Committee today, said that there is not much time left  for the Delhi Assembly elections, and Congress workers should forcefully expose the anti-people policies of the  BJP and  Aam Aadmi Party governments, whose indifference towards public welfare and problems affecting the people like  power cuts, water crisis, inflated power bills, corruption,  water logging, poor condition of roads, water and air pollution, etc have made their lives miserable. He appealed to the Congress workers to reach out to the local people to tell them about the failures of the BJP and Kejriwal Governments, and the efforts being made by the Cognress to solvr their problems.

The District Executive Committee meeting was organized by District President Ch. Zuber Ahmed in the Tahirpur area of Seemapuri Assembly.

 

Besides Shri Devender Yadav, prominent others present at the meeting were Chairman of the Communications Department and former MLA Shri Anil Bhardwaj, former MLAs Ch. Matin Ahmed, Veer Singh Dhingan, Bhishma Sharma, Observer Ashok Jain, Jitender Baghel, Kailash Jain, Sewa Dal Chief Sunil Kumar, MC Mohd. Zarif, Raj Kumar Jain all the block and district presidents, office-bearers of frontal organizations, cells and departments.

 

Shri Devender Yadav said that the enhanced vote share in the  Lok Sabha elections was a good augury for the Congress party in the coming Assembly elections, but the District and Block Congress Committee workers have to do their best to ensure the victory of the Congress candidates in all their Assembly segments by consolidating the party position at the ground level . He said that to further strengthen the organization, Delhi Congress will soon approve the proposal of 258 Block Congress Committees and announce the division of each block into two divisions. Along with forming divisions, the process of dividing the divisions into sectors is also going on, in which a plan is being prepared to form a sector of 5-7 booths. He said that the Congress party, under the dynamic leadership of Shri Rahul Gandhi, has been doing many things to address the issues affecting the people, and Congress workers should spare no effort to take the message of Rahul Ji to the people of Delhi.

 

Shri Devender Yadav said that one month before the announcement of the Assembly elections, each worker of Delhi Congress should gather the opinion of the  voters at every booth to know the mind of the people. He said that the Congress workers had enhanced the confidence of the voters before the Lok Sabha elections, with their regular interaction with the poor, middle class, backward class, SC, ST, minorities, labourers, street vendors, youth and women and people associated with social, religious organizations and NGOs.

 

Shri Devender Yadav said that due to record breaking unemployment, backbreaking inflation and price rise in the last 10 years, almost every section of the society has been impacted  but the BJP and the Delhi government have been continuously putting financial burden on the people as by increasing the PPAC rates by 8-10 percent every year, power rate per unit has become the costliest in the Capital. He said that the Congress workers would  have to expose the collusion between BJP and Aam Aadmi Party and their shadow boxing before the people of Delhi.

 NEW DELHI, July 24, 2024—Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president Shri Devender Yadav, addressing an executive committee meeting of the DPCC Minority Department at the DPCC office, Rajiv Bhawan here today,  said that Delhi Congress has been holding such meetings to strengthen the party in the Capital at all levels with the full involvement of all the stakeholders. He said that Congress workers have been inspired and motivated by the Block and District  Congress Committee meetings and they have resolved to  work unitedly, with the total involvement of the people of  Delhi, to consolidate and strengthen the party at the ground level. The programme was organized by Chairman of the Delhi Pradesh Minority Department Shri Abdul Wahid Qureshi.

 

Shri Devender Yadav said that the strong performance of the various Cells and  Departments and the Block and District Congress committees will give a big boost to the party in the upcoming  Delhi Assembly elections, as there was a general air of expectancy among the Congress workers about the party  returning to power in Delhi with a strong performance.

 

Besides Shri Devender Yadav, prominent others present at the meeting were  Rajya Sabha MP Shri Imran Pratapgarhi, Chairman of the Communications Department and ex-MLA Shri Anil Bhardwaj, Minority Deptt Incharge Shahnawaj Sheikh, Municipal Councillor Sameer Mansoori and Minority Deptt. office bearers.

 

Shri Devender Yadav said that Congress workers would have to take all sections of people together to strengthen the party at the booth level,  as people were now looking upto the Congress party to repeat its good work of the previous  15-year rule in Delhi.

 

Shri Devender Yadav said that very soon, Block Congress Committees will be divided into ward-wise for a total number of 258 blocks and each block will be divided into two Mandals and each Mandal will be further divided into sectors with 5-7 pooling booths to be clubbed into one sector. He said that people were getting attracted to the Congress party due to the dynamic leadership of Congress president Shri Mallikarjun Kharge and Leader of  the Opposition Shri Rahul Gandhi as they have been forcefully raising issues relevant to people’s welfare both inside and outside Parliament, which has created a ripple effect.

 

Shri Imran Pratapgarhi appealed to the Congress workers to fully expose the incompetence and irresponsible governance of both the BJP and the Aam Aadmi Party Governments because of which people have been suffering endless agony. He said that Shri Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra and Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra have played a significant role spreading love and affection among the people, and his efforts had paid off greatly in the Lok Sabha elections. He said that corruption and incompetence have been the fixed features of both the BJP and AAP Governments, as people’s welfare was least of their concerns, and Congress workers should highlight this fact.
