DPCC president Shri Devender Yadav welcomes a large number of office-bearers and workers of Aam Aadmi Party and BJP into the Congress family

 

NEW DELHI, August 31, 2024—Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president Shri Devender Yadav  welcomed many leaders and workers of Aam Aadmi Party, BJP and NCP from different Assembly segments, including Kasturba Nagar, Burari and Najafgarh to the Congress party by offering them the party scarf, at the DPCC office, Rajiv Bhawan, here today.

 

Shri Devender Yadav said that  many leaders and office-bearers of the BJP and Aam Aadmi Party joined Congress in the past few days, which was a clear indication that people were fed up with the corruption, non-performance  and incompetence of the Kejriwal Government and the BJP, as they only clash on every issue, without doing any constructive work beneficial to the people.

 

Shri Devender Yadav said that leaders and workers from other parties were getting influenced by the ideology of the Congress, and the dynamic leadership of the party by Congress president Shri Mallikarjun Kharge and Leader of the Opposition Shri Rahul Gandhi. Shri Devender Yadav said that all those who joined the Congress will be given suitable positions in the party, as they will be further strengthening the Congress in the Capital.

 

Besides Shri Devender Yadav, others  present on the occasion were Chairman of the Communications Department and ex-MLA Shri Anil Bhardwaj, ex-MLA Ch. Mateen Ahmed and AICC Secretary Shri Abhishek Dutt, Najafgarh District President Satbir Sharma.
